
Actors Kim Go Eun and Park Bo Young made meaningful donations to children’s hospitals in celebration of Children’s Day, supporting young patients in need of medical care.
According to BH Entertainment on May 5, Kim Go Eun donated 50 million KRW (approx. 36,000 USD) to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital. Her donation will go toward improving the hospital’s pediatric medical environment.
Since 2021, Kim Go Eun has consistently donated over the past five years to support young patients suffering from chronic and serious illnesses, particularly those struggling financially. Her ongoing acts of generosity reflect her deep commitment to helping children in medical need.
Park Bo Young also marked Children’s Day by donating 20 million KRW (approx. 15,000 USD) to the charity Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation. The organization stated that the funds will be used to help improve treatment environments at Seoul Metropolitan Children’s Hospital.
Park Bo Young is well known for her continuous philanthropic efforts. Every year, she donates on her birthday and Children’s Day. For the past decade, she has also regularly volunteered at children’s hospitals, further demonstrating her dedication to making a difference.
Meanwhile, Kim Go Eun is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series 'You and Everything Else' and 'The Price of Confession.' Park Bo Young will return to the small screen on May 24 in the new tvN weekend drama 'Our Unwritten Seoul.'
