On the May 5th KST episode of the online talk show 'Zzanbro', singers Lee Hyun Woo, Yoon Sang, and Kim Hyun Chul appeared as guests and shared stories from their past. Lee Hyun Woo opened up about a frightening experience with a stalker fan during the height of his popularity.
Describing the layout of his old apartment, he said, “At midnight, the lights would go out and the elevator doors would open into a dimly lit hallway. There were only two units on the floor. One night, I came home around 1 AM, and when I got off the elevator, a woman holding a black plastic bag was standing there. The whole hallway smelled strongly of raw mackerel. She yelled, ‘I was going to grill this for you! Why are you so late?’ I was so shocked I ran to the security guard to ask him to escort her out, but he just said, ‘Please stop fighting with your girlfriend.’ That made it even worse.”
But the ordeal didn’t end there.
“I ended up moving. My mom, who had been living in the U.S., came to visit and was making food for me. When I came back from my schedule one day, she was sitting with that same woman, eating fruit together. I asked her, ‘Mom, what are you doing?’ and she said, ‘Isn’t she someone from your company?’” Lee revealed, sending chills through viewers as he described how the stalker had even deceived his mother to enter their home.
Yoon Sang also shared his own unsettling encounters. “When I was DJing for the late-night show ‘Night Disco Show,’ I used to double park and leave my car keys inside. One night, I started the engine and suddenly heard someone calling my name from the back seat. It scared me to death. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw a woman sitting there. I have no idea how she got past the security guard.”
He continued, “I wish it had ended there. But later, I got into a car accident and was hospitalized. My mother told me someone had come to visit, and it was that same woman. I don’t remember exactly how I got her to leave, but it was terrifying.”
