On May 5th (local time), the 2025 Met Gala, the largest event in the fashion world, was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, USA. SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups was among the high-profile attendees.
This year’s Met Gala theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”, inspired by Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.”
First held in 1948, the Met Gala is an annual charity gala held on the first Monday of May. It brings together the biggest names in global fashion, Hollywood stars, pop icons, and other world-renowned celebrities in celebration of fashion and culture.
S.Coups captivated attention at the event by confidently stepping onto the red carpet in a black hanbok-inspired suit, exuding both elegance and originality.
This year’s Met Gala was co-chaired by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour, with LeBron James serving as honorary chair.
SEVENTEEN’s fifth studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' will be released on May 26th.
