Former 4minute member Jiyoon has officially kicked off her solo career with her MAXI single album, 'Day AND Night', along with her new name, Jenyer!
The MV for her title song "I Do" sports an ethereal nature, with Jiyoon finding beaming bundles of light as she wanders through beaches, forests, grassy fields, and more. While the title of the song references Jiyoon's popular phrase from her 'Unpretty Rapstar' days, it also indicates the sun, which in Korean, is the same word as "doing". The song has dual meaning in that Jiyoon wants to be the sun providing light and hope to others, while also in that she wants to be the one to go through pain and sorrow so others can enjoy only good things.
