SM Entertainment's warning seems to have had a great impact on online communities.

On October 7, SM officially announced that they planned to take strong legal action against malicious rumors and those who are violating the privacy of their artists. Several hours after the announcement, one popular online community experienced a drastic decrease in the number of posts.

The category of 'Male Celebrities' specifically hsawad the most drastic change, with numbers going down from 5,162,390 to 3,906,349. That's more than 1.2 million posts deleted on a single day. This online community recently gained tremendous attention for rumors of EXO D.O.'s departure from the group

SM Entertainment's warning must have really scared those malicious commenters.

lmao, you were all big enough to put the claims out there, but when there might be actual repurcussions, you bitch out cause it might affect your personally??think about how it effected the celebrities , and show genuine remorse.

It's the fact that the rumors started in the first place that worries me... Usually there is some truth in rumors.. I will be really devastated if he left EXO... Him, Baekhyun, and Chen are crucial members in EXO.. Otherwise they just won't sound the same anymore..

He's also just too talented as a siner to give up his singing career for acting, even if he's proven to be a decent actor. Seriously hope this is all a fake rumor

I am NOT so clear that SPECULATING about member 'DO' leaving EXO Group is that much ILLEGAL for S.KOREAN citizens. I suppose the *manner* in which you go about that might matter though. Supporting your 'theory' with LIES, might not be so good. BUT anyway, I can see where S.KOREAN citizens who posted *any* online messages about SMe Artists, might just decide to DELETE their messages anyway, if they can do it. Nobody in S.KOREA *wants* to attract some kind of PERSONAL COMPLAINT from SMe Agency against them over some online message. So, the 'easy choice' is just to STOP saying ANYTHING much about SMe Agency Artists. And DELETE anything that you said it related to SMe Agency if possible.

Someone on AKP suggested that 'NITWITIZENS' will just 'lay low' for awhile. And then 'start it up' once again. Probably that is likely. USUALLY though, when a firm like SMe Agency says that they are planning to DO SOMETHING about 'TROLL CRAP,' it means they have some TARGETS in mind already. By that, some NITWITS who are 'WAY OVER THE LINE' of 'reasonable' in terms of their online messages. SMe would be looking to make an EXAMPLE of *ADULT* NITWITS like that. And usually, they ARE ADULTS that are the MOST PERSISTENT and AGGRESSIVE offenders. Bot SUZY and IU have had their AGENCY legally 'go after' via POLICE investigation, a couple of these NITWIT message posters. SUZY had a WOMAN posting DAILY for like '6 Months Continuous' on her SNS account that she wanted SUZY to DIE. After awhile, SUZY and JYPe Agency had ENOUGH of it; NOT surprisingly.

people are like " ooh i'm scared" and after a month duuh they just comeback and repeat everything. haters won't learn anything not until they experience it. hope SM be able to catch does fucking people

Exo_Leia Saturday, October 8, 2016

Did AKP take down their articles too?

krell Exo_Leia Saturday, October 8, 2016

AKP (6THEORY business firm) is located in USA State of NEW JERSEY. So, S.KOREAN LAWS do *not* apply to AKP as they would to a S.KOREAN citizen or business firm.

Hmm.. True true... I actually didn't even think about that, thanks for telling me

This article is so ironic coming from AKP considering they helped spread the rumour that Kyungsoo was leaving EXO a few days ago pmsl
