Dongho's parents discussed the negative public opinion about Dongho becoming a dad on TV show.

On 'A Man Who Gives Dog Food,' which aired on October 14, regular cast member Dongho, a former U-KISS member, went to his parents' house. Dongho went into his old room, filled with photos and fan letters from his idol days and talked about his memories.

His mom cautiously talked about the negative comments his son received from the public, especially after he had a child (e.g., "A baby had a baby.") She said, "I've been watching this show. I feel hurt when there are a lot of hateful comments about him." The father added, "Even if you do a good job, there are always negative comments."

Dongho's mom stated, "I read a lot of people say that he's too young to be a father, but I believe in my son." Dongho's dad also encouraged him, saying, "I trust you."

Please koreans!! I think the average age of getting married in korea is too old.. in my country when you are above 20 or like 21 it's not something weird to get married.. and even other countries as well rightt?? but in korea getting married at age 30s-40s are the average...-.---

30s - 40s? that's a struggle in having a child and they're culture is's quite ironic

k_kid ima_sone Saturday, October 15, 2016

Even in the US, people think getting married at 21 is too early to get married. Most people here get married around 28 or 30s.

missfox98 k_kid Sunday, October 16, 2016

All countries think 21 is a young age, here in Philippines, 25 will be the youngest marrying age to some, but get marry in your 30s, it's considered late. But like I said, for a patriarchal cultured country, it's quite ironic to get married at 30s - 40s

Korea isn't as patriarchal as it was in the past. It still is to a certain extent, but it's not as bad as it was before. Even the US is pretty patriarchal in all honesty. The more rights and freedom that women get, the later they get married. That's why women in the US tend to get married later as well, as they don't want their marriage or pregnancy to get in the way of their work.

Too young to be a father? He was born in 1994 - aged 22 years old? Legal adult? Earns money monthly just like every other humans with jobs? He aint that teenage boy anymore kids, get over it. Idk if it's just me but 22 is actually a good age to get married to your parents and have kids since at that age most people probably graduate from universities already.

*get married to your PARTNER OMG AHHAAHHAHAHA fuck this stupid typo

Dongho is an amazing father and a hard worker. He takes good care of his wife and child. He has family that care about him and his wife and child. People need to leave them alone now. Offer nice thoughts and comments or keep it to yourself.

Why are they getting hate? Dongho decided to take responsibility for his actions, full responsibility the right way, that should be commended and not discouraged. He had other options when faced with the decision, that he chose the right one, for whatever reason, should never be looked down on

I think it is a lovely thing to be able to have a child. It's a blessing to have a kid, not a disgrace. God bless you and your family.

OMG THOSE CHUBBY CHEEKS.. oh and his baby too xD

anisabae23 Friday, October 14, 2016

Once you are capable of having intercourse and producing children there is zero such thing as "too young" that is just a modern day social idea that is 0% backed up by the nature and science of human beings. Even with that said, he seems to be taking damn well care of his baby despite being "young". You can never please people no matter what you're doing smh.

Bullshit, an 11 year old cannot properly raise a child. They can't even get a job or drive a car. And what about the 5 year old who was raped and got pregnant, think she's old enough too?

Bubblyama pink_oracle Friday, October 14, 2016

I think you took what she said too literally. But i dont think a 5 year old girl can get pregnant because she hasnt had her period which usually comes at the ages between 8-15 years old. When you have your period it means that you are ovulating and are able to start having children. But i do agree with what you are saying though there are technically some ages that are a bit too young to have children because most people arent experienced or ready to do so yet

pink_oracle Bubblyama Saturday, October 15, 2016

Google it, a 5 year old Peruvian girl had a baby. Nature is not a conscious entity, it doesn't make logical decisions. Girls can get pregnant as early as 9, that in no way means they should. Hell, even 16 year old's should not be having babies.

lovelynnnnnn Friday, October 14, 2016

He's not a teenager anymore. Let him be.

somini83 Friday, October 14, 2016

I love his addition to the show his family plus their new Samoyed pup are adorable

Gallifreyan7 Friday, October 14, 2016

While I do think having a baby at this age is a bit early , it doesn't mean it's a bad thing either. It's his life after all. As long as they both wanted that child and if they raise him right there isn't a real problem.

k_kid Gallifreyan7 Friday, October 14, 2016

I'm the same. I do think 22 is a little too young to have a child. But it's his life and that's the decision he made.
