Dongho's parents discussed the negative public opinion about Dongho becoming a dad on TV show.
On 'A Man Who Gives Dog Food,' which aired on October 14, regular cast member Dongho, a former U-KISS member, went to his parents' house. Dongho went into his old room, filled with photos and fan letters from his idol days and talked about his memories.

His mom cautiously talked about the negative comments his son received from the public, especially after he had a child (e.g., "A baby had a baby.") She said, "I've been watching this show. I feel hurt when there are a lot of hateful comments about him." The father added, "Even if you do a good job, there are always negative comments."
Dongho's mom stated, "I read a lot of people say that he's too young to be a father, but I believe in my son." Dongho's dad also encouraged him, saying, "I trust you."
