Despite having debuted less than a week ago through NCT's newest unit NCT 127, Yuta is well-known among fans as a member of S.M.ROOKIES as well as for his previous appearances on shows like 'Abnormal Summit'.

Many also know Yuta by the nickname "Takoyaki Prince," because Yuta is from Osaka, Japan, but it looks like thanks to the new hairdo he took on for NCT 127's "Fire Truck" promotions, he's earned an upgraded nickname!
In a recent interview, Yuta relayed, "I'm working hard as a part of NCT 127 right now. I used to have the nickname 'Takoyaki Prince,' but now it's become Yakisoba."
