J.Y. Park spared no criticisms toward the cast of 'Unnies' Slam Dunk' during the show's June 3 airing.

The JYP head judged the entire crew on how much they have improved upon their performance skills. Out of all the cast members, J.Y. Park was particularly severe in his remarks toward Jessi for forgetting her lyrics. He told her, "Jessi, I don't know if you have enough [time to practice] but your efforts are really lacking. What are we going to do when you can't even memorize the lyrics or the melody?

In the individual interview portion of the show, J.Y. Park explained that he wasn't as hard on Jessi as he could have been, saying, "I'm most regretful about Jessi. Because there is a difference in ability, I thought I could go more easy on her.

Jessi seemed to reflect on herself more after J.Y. Park's criticism. She said, "I didn't practice enough. I should have said that I was busy with my other schedules or something. It's entirely my fault."

In my opinion this is intentional. I think she cannot stand working with people she doesn't like

He was probably disappointed because he recognises the potential and talent!

Poor jessi she's been so busy working without days off, being sick and preparing to release a new album, she didn't have time to practice

It's variety. There are chances that the PD asked JYP and Jessi to make it more interesting. JYP needs to show that his strict side is still there while Jessi needs to soften her ssenunnie image. They worked together before and JYP had nothing but praises for Jessi.

I think it's fair to criticize in such manner. He's teaching them what nneds ro be done. If he's too nice they may not get what they want at the end of this.

When JYP started with the program, Unni's Slam Dunk, he mentioned that he once asked an idol go to home, because he forgot his lines and didnt memorize them well. He mentioned it at the start because he wanted the girls to know he was being serious. When one of the girl made a mistake because she was nervous, JYP said that when you do this program "Unni's Slam Dunk" you can do it, either in a "Serious way" or a "Funny way" to make people laugh, since its a variety show. He said if you did not intend it to be serious, then why did you come to me? he asked.I think he is saying, he is very serious and passionate when it comes to music, he can be funny in a variety show like IC's Music festival, but when it comes to practising, he is serious. Just as how YJS also practised seriously by himself when he was partner with JYP, even when YJS has so many schedules also. I think Jessi should devote more time doing it, as if it was her own solo comeback.

I can't decide whether she or JYP annoys me more. Either way she does at least work her ass off. He gets invited places to bloviate about an industry he's technically no longer a part of, at least not from behind the scenes.

Already 3 mil views in less than 2 months. And this is not even the main title track. He's still in the market.

Thanks, I'll pass. He creeps me the fuck out. At his age he shouldn't be dancing up on very young ladies. I'm not accusing him of anything specific, but he is one creepy dude.

L_catzzz ladamenoire Friday, June 3, 2016

Ok 👌

L_catzzz ladamenoire Friday, June 3, 2016

Just want to say he actually did dancing up on young ladies in this video as well. At 0:38 :D

He gets invited because he is producer Park Jinyoung and founder of JYP Entertainment, not just because he is singer Park Jinyoung.

I haven't watched this show. Is it any good?

Winston DesiRodri1254 Friday, June 3, 2016

its about achieving the dreams of the six girls in the show, the first girl, Kim Sook, dream was to have a bus driving license, which she later achieved it and passed the test, the 2nd girl, Min Hyo Rin's dream was to be a girl group member, and hence they are doing it with JYP's help, since Hyo Rin in JYP. I found it nice after ep 5 when the 2nd girl's dream started. the first girl's dream was kind of boring, as they keep focusing on the bus driving training.

Thanks for letting me know what it's about
