The girl group expressed they were surprised they got the chance to appear on the show, saying, "Rather than winning the competition, we think it's more important to show our performance." For the Jo Kyung Soo and Ham Joong Ah special of the show, TWICE covered Jo Kyung Soo's "YMCA".

TWICE's cheerleader concept went perfectly with the upbeat, athletic theme of the song, and it was Kim Jang Hoon (Highlight for Spoiler) who took the final win.

dude... that was hot~

3 out 9 members could actually sing. The song was not a good choice to show off vocal ability. They really came off as beautiful dancers

is this live? i bet their good at this.

I'm a fan of Twice, I think they're great, but I'll admit this was a definite miscalculation on their part. I wasn't expecting Mamamoo-level vocals, but this is Immortal Song, and I expect a lot if you're going to appear on the show. This...was embarrassing. Like I had to stop watching a minute in, because it was so cringeworthy. This doesn't mean they're untalented or whatever haters are saying, I just think they tried to accommodate the fact that they're not the strongest group vocally speaking, and over-adjusted. If they do appear on the show again, maybe don't send the whole group and don't perform a glorified cheerleading routing

im merely here bc i heard Jungyeon had more lines, shes the only one i care about so

kpoplover308 Sunday, May 22, 2016

What the heck happened to immortal song? Love Twice but lets be honest, they they aren't the most vocally talented and they are too new to be rearranging things themselves. I feel bad for them, not the right show at this point in their career.

agreed 100%

what.thehec. was that lMFAO You expect with all the winnings they have, and less dancing, they would at least sing better. THE MR removed videos I saw since their debut sucked too

People making so much exuses for this group. What singers do is singing, if you can't sing so don't be a singer. It's not about what the song type is, or your group is rookie or not, etc. If u are a singer, then ur ability is singing. U are not a fashion model or just a dancer. I just can't believe how can this group got all the winning trophies considering the fact almost of this member group can't even sing live well. It's so unfair for another group/ singers (who are greater than this, who are so much on top level quality as an idol even as an "artist"). Why this Kpop world is always like this. I'm not hating, seriously. It's just so disappointing

I agree with most of this, although I don't think TWICE are the worst singers. But how will we ever know, if all they do is lip sync? It's embarrassing that JYP put together a group of 9 girls, but there are NO truly great singers in the group. Nevertheless, they should be forced to sing live on stage, because without practice they will never improve. I'm kind of shocked these shameless lip syncers were invited to Immortal Song in the first place, to be honest!

They're not singers tho? LOL they're just idols... entertainers... if you wanna listen to singers then dont listen to kpop... ya there are good vocals amongst idols but they cant even compare to actual korean singers...

Kpoplife123 sinkwitdaship Sunday, May 22, 2016

idols are supposed to be able to SING and dance LOL. plus there are plenty of groups that can sing really well live like seventeen, mamamoo, lovelyz, gfriend and so on. they can be compared to actual korean singers but the reason they can't sing as well is because they have to dance while singing. mamamoo lovelyz seventeen and gfriend could all meet the standards of a korean singer if they didn't dance while singing. you're just lowkey defending twice.

sinkwitdaship Kpoplife123 Sunday, May 22, 2016

None of the people you mentioned can even compare to the lieks of song seung yeon or lena park or sohyang... pls try again... gfriend cant even sing besides yuju and the closest one to an actual vocalist is mamamoo... kpop is just generic hooks and catchy chorus... the idols you mentioned are so far behind the vocal game compared to these actual singers.

STStheting Sunday, May 22, 2016

from my point of view it isnt the girls but the song. like bruh why this song of all songs? another thing is that why would you throw a rookie girl group on a show like this? damn. what are the agencies doing?? let them improve and meet mamamoo's standards dangit. they still have alot of room to improve.

Veronica96 STStheting Sunday, May 22, 2016

It's both lol they don't have stable vocals to begin with nor an outstanding main vocalist so I guess that's why jyp chose an easier song jyp should just have them do variety

DemosthenesVoice Sunday, May 22, 2016

Considering the many out-of-this world performances on Immortal Songs, that was ... disappointing.

I didn't know there was a show called Immortal Songs and as soon as I saw your comment I had to check it out. You are so damn right.
