On this day, she reminisced about her earlier days as a singer, when things did not go as well and she was not as successful. She said, "Before EXID, I first debuted through 2NB. Around when the contract of 2NB expired, I thought that I shouldn't be a singer. Because I was getting older, but unable to make money.
"While doing that for five to six years, I had only made 600,000 KRW (~ 511 USD). I only received about 600,000 KRW, I think. I felt sorry toward my mother. I ended up changing to a vocal trainer, and then joined EXID as the member in charge of the high parts."
