Earlier this week, Song Hye Kyo made headlines by sending a thoughtful surprise gift to Jang Ki Yong, Ahn Eun Jin, Nam Gi Ae, and director Kim Jae Hyun. Song Hye Kyo sent a special coffee and snack truck to their filming location, complete with an encouraging banner that stated "Looking forward to a great production!"
Now, Nam Gi Ae has expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful gift. The actress stated, "Song Hye Kyo sent a snack truck to the set of 'Kiss Me For No Reason.' I was touched... I felt Hye Kyo's love for me, especially since she carefully planned it to happen on the day I was coming to shoot, and put up a banner with my photo and even wrote my name on it. It was heartwarming. She's a lovely daughter - thank you to Song Hye Kyo for being my daughter in three works ~~~"
Nam Gi Ae referenced her previous work with Song Hye Kyo, in which the two played mother and daughter in three different dramas: Now, We Are Breaking Up, Encounter, and Descendants of the Sun. Even after their time filming together ended, their close friendship left an impression on fans.
Meanwhile, Nam Gi Ae is currently filming for the upcoming drama 'Kiss Me For No Reason,' which follows the story of a single woman who pretends to be a mother to get a job at a baby products company, and the team leader who accidentally falls in love with her.
