Former Cube artist Shin Ji Hoon says a growth spurt made her sprout nearly half a foot

Singer Shin Ji Hoon, who originally started out as a pro figure skater, guested on the May 27 broadcast of 'Sketchbook.' 

Shin Jin Hoon must have been a bit nervous about her first appearance on 'Sketchbook,' and she admitted as much to MC Yoo Hee Yeol. She said, "My mind is blank right now." 

The singer continued, "Recently, I was talking with my friends and one of them showed me a 'Sketchbook' video. When I told them that I'll be going on the show, they got so excited."

Shin Ji Hoon also talked about participating on 'K-Pop Star's second season at the young age of 15, and surprised the audience with her growth spurt during that time. She said, "I stopped exercising while I participated in the auditions [for 'K-Pop Star'], and I grew 15 cm (~5.9 inches) in about a year."
