WINNER was the guest on the February 22 airing of 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School,' talking about their recent comeback and the motivation they felt from watching all the rookie idols that are currently dominating the K-Pop scene.
Kang Seung Yoon apologized, "We're sorry about making a comeback so late. We were longing to stand on stage again and to promote so we're happy to be active after such a long time," and promised fans, "This year, you'll get to see us until you're sick of us." Kim Chang Ryul asked the members, "A lot of rookie groups came out during your hiatus. Didn't you want to comeback sooner?" Kang Seung Yoon answered, "We really wanted to comeback as soon as possible," and admitted, "We felt a lot of motivation from [seeing] iKON and G-Friend."

The idol continued, "Our first album did better than expected so we wanted to come back with even better songs." Kim Chang Ryul returned, "My wife really like your first album," revealing that there is a big WINNER fan right in his family!
