Lee Dong Hwi's popularity in the CF market has greatly increased following his recent drama 'Reply 1988'.

So far, Lee Dong Hwi has signed contracts for 11 CFs. He previously had one CF before the drama, but he now is signed for makeup, razors, chicken, cars, phones, and more. His friendly character in 'Reply 1988' has turned into an advantage as he has become more familiar and favored by the public. His high fashion sense also took part in such popularity.
The two images of friend and fashionista make Lee Dong Hwi perfect as a CF star. Though Lee Dong Hwi was not able to join the rest of the members on 'Youth Over Flowers', he has gained attention through his popularity in CF.
