JYP Entertainment has signed an exclusive deal with CMC!
The label signed a deal worth 5,251,680,000 KRW (approximately 4.3 million USD) with CMC (China Music Corporation) to target the digital music market. China Music Corporation was about to massively buy music rights. CMC has reportedly reached exclusive, long-term agreement with over 40 music labels and agencies, representing more than 15% of the total market. This is a great deal for JYP, as their groups such as 2PM, miss A, GOT7, and TWICE are all popular in China.
