On the January 29 episode of audition survival program 'Produce 101,' Kim Soo Hyun's half sister received some constructive criticism on her dancing, which was below par compared to her vocals skills.
Kim Joo Na, who had made headlines for being Kim Soo Hyun's half sister, confessed, "If I said I didn't feel burdened, I'd be lying. It's something that I didn't want people to know, so I tried to become a singer who's acknowledged for her talent."

On this epoisode, Kim Joo Na received an average grade of C for her performance, the main reason being that her dancing was lacking. Choreographer Bae Yoon Jung told her bluntly, "You can't dance at all," while Jang Geun Suk was a bit milder with his words, advising her, "You showed us many things from vocals to rap, but you can't dance that well. But that's the only thing you can't do. You'll get better at what you're already good at and I hope that you will work on what you're not good at and show us your potential for improvement."
Kim Joo Na remained positive to the criticism, responding with, "I will try harder from now on so I hope you'll look upon me favorably."
