Shim Hyung Tak, who was in talks to star in KBS's new weekend drama 'Five Children,' has been confirmed for the role of a film director named Lee Tae Ho in the series. 

'Five Children' is said to be a rom com about families that attempt to find true happiness in the midst of love and war. As Lee Tae Ho, Shim Hyung Tak will be rekindling the first love from his college days.

The actor relayed through his agency Wednesday, "I'm so glad that I can greet the viewers through the small screen again after such a long time. It' all thanks to you that I got to showcase many sides of myself. I will answer with stellar acting in the superb work that is 'Five Children.'"
