He was introduced by Yoo Se Yoon who said, "Hongki recently released his solo album nine years after his debut. Recently, it has been revealed that he is close friends with actress Park Shin Hye, and it has become a hot topic."

When I meet up with Park Shin Hye, we drink, we bowl, and we hang out. There are even times just the two of us meet up."
