Teddy's new label was actually recommended by Papa YG himself, who thought it would be good idea for the producer to mold some of the new talent.�He said, "These days, there are many people who come to YG to do music. But there is a limit to how many artists the label can house, and even if I had ten additional bodies, I wouldn't be able to take care of all of [the artists]. That's why I requested for Teddy to establish a new label with the expectation that the results will be stellar. In YG, Teddy is a producer with the best taste and a producer who makes excellent music."�

Yang Hyun Suk made it no secret that he has great faith in Teddy, explaining that Teddy is a friend he would like to keep by his side for even 20 more years. The YG founder told Osen, "Teddy is younger than I am but he is my colleague and friend whom I talk with the most within the company. If I were to retire later, Teddy will be the successor who will lead YG's musical sector. As we searched for a way to make work more fun and enjoyable, we decided to set up a new label. The synergy will be even greater if Teddy concurrently works under YG as a producer and runs his own label."
Yang Hyun Suk continued, "Teddy is a long-time buddy whom I have watched since his trainee days. I will do whatever I can for him," revealing his resolve to assist Teddy and Kush set up the new label in any way possible.�
When the reporter commented, "Teddy is a very lucky man," Papa YG said, "I'm lucky to have a friend like him."�
