Teddy and Kush to also create their own independent label under YG Entertainment

A YG representative revealed the news that Teddy and Kush would be making another label under the company. Yang Hyun Suk himself was said to have first planned and pursued the idea. This means this will be the second independent label stemming from YG Entertainment.

A representative said, "Yang Hyun Suk will soon let go of Teddy and Kush. They'll show different colors from YG Entertainment's music, and like HIGHGRND, they will recruit new musicians and create music."

Yang Hyun Suk is said to have even told those around him, "Teddy and Kush will become better than me and become the best producers," praising the two's talents.

As you might know, Teddy and Kush have taken part in producing both Big Bang and 2NE1's hit albums over the past years, making a name for themselves as 'hitmakers'.
