There haven't been too many updates on CL's official American debut, besides the fact that it's still coming. But CL did dish on some details on her upcoming album during her interview with 'Dazed' magazine!

CL has revealed the name of her album as well as a few songs on the track! You ready? Her EP (extended play/mini-album) is titled 'Lifted' and will include songs like "Hello Bitches" and "Fallin"!

In 'Dazed', CL revealed that her track "Hello Bitches" was originally a collaboration with M.I.A. titled "Asian Bitches", but she later changed her mind because "Asian Bitches' is too categorized. I mean, you can't sing along with 'Asian Bitches,' you know?"

Her other track "Fallin" is produced by Blood Diamonds and DJ Dahi and written by Bibi Bourelly. It's described as a "moody, electro-soul" track and a rework of Wu-Tang Clan's song "Method Man".

Her album 'Lifted' is expected to be dropped this fall by Diplo's label 'Mad Decent'. She explained, "I wanted to make this EP like a sampler. I kept thinking, 'My fans should know where I'm going.' I didn't want them to be completely confused, because it's not going to be a Korean album."

It sounds like a full-album will be coming after the release of her EP. And we're always down for more music from CL!

"Hello Bitches" Idk how I feel about this...

The problem with Koreans is that for them everything done by any ethnic Korean outside of Korea somehow becomes some crusade for Korean national pride. It's also part of the hive drone mentality. Nobody can simply do something for themselves, as an individual, without having to somehow represent, or have the approval, of the entire Korean national hive. CL has healthy ambitions to try to become more than she could be as 2NE1 or simply a Kpop star in Korea. The loser attitude that wants to restrict Koreans to simply Kpop and Korea/Asia is like telling an athlete with awesome talent to just be happy playing for their small hometown team and not have a desire or ambition to try to play for the national team. It's a totally moronic and irrational attitude. ;

I'm sorry but I think she tries too hard!! So hard that I don't believe in her "bad bitch" act

No one currssss

Funny how she keeps saying it's not Korean music, we don't want to put the word 'Asian' in the song... She's already putting her hands forward as if to say 'Hello Bitches I'm disatncing myself from you Asians minions, I'm American now!', I get that she has to westernize herself for the US debut, but now it's beginning to look like racial reversal... I don't know, I like her but I'm starting to see where she's going and I don't think I'll keep supporting her if this is how it's going to be. Sad, really sad, I'm a huge 2ne1 fan, and I was happy about her US debut, but lately I've fallen a bit out of love with CL; now I just hope to be proven wrong by her upcoming releases. (This is my personal opinion and you don't have to take it as an offense to CL, it's just my feeling about the latest news about her).

Before uttering such stupidity you should try putting the shoe on the other foot. CL is putting out an album in the US like many foreign musicians have done before her. Just like Kpop acts have to adapt to Japan if they want a career there, the same applies here genius. I suppose if some Vietnamese act wanted to break into Korea they would continue to sing in Vietnamese, cater to the Vietnamese music taste, and not have to adapt to Korea's way of doing things? Think!

@Rebel_Patriot Back at you! I also wrote that I get that she has to make herself more US style, what I don't like are her increasing statements where she basically says that she's distancing from her Korean roots as if to protect herself from dislike by the American public. What I don't like is that she shouldn't care about this, she should go her way being proud of her heritage, even if she 'westernize' herself, I know perfectly that she won't make it if she sings in Korean or keeps her Korean style, she just should stop putting down her own country. I know you will say she doesn't but somethings she said slightly made me feel that way. I am her fan and I want the best future for her, but I won't be one of those brained washed stans that kiss the very soil she steps on, if she says or does something that I find questionable I'll speak up my mind as it's my right to do. Also you're a really rude person, if you are a CL fan that only makes her look bad, you should respect other people's opinions, if you intend to insult every person that writes here somenting not to your taste you won't have much of a life, so let's just calm down and wait for CL's music in hope that she'll bring us somenthing cool that will highlight her talents and make her relevant in the international market. Peace.

@SimonaBB First off, CL hasn't said or done a damned thing to "put down" Korea. However, Koreans have to get rid of the notion that Korea is the center of the universe, and by not making her ethnicity or native country her defining characteristic she is not "putting it down." She is adapting. Americans don't give a crap about where you came from. Rihanna is not American she is from Barbados... but nobody really knows or cares about that fact. Americans will look at CL and judge her based on her music and style. Only Koreans seem to make everything into a ethnic/national issue. CL is going to the US to hopefully make money, gain popularity, global recognition, and make good music. She isn't doing it to be a cheerleader for Korea or the Korean ethnicity. And Kpop and Korea is already intensely "Westernized." The only real original aspects of Korean culture that continue to exist in everyday life, and especially pop culture, is the age worship, bowing, formal speech, and Korean's love of their own food.

SimonaBB Friday, September 25, 2015

@Rebel_Patriot Okay, I see there's no point in discussing with you, you are set on attacking everything I say that's not a praise or a compliment to CL, then I will say 'Go queen CL, slay them, you're the best, I'll bow down to you!' this is probably to your liking. I see you're looking for a fight and I'm done, I don't see why a grown up person like me needs to justify every word she writes. It's fans like you that turn away potential new fans from the artist you support. I see it everytime, look at some EXO fans, they do it a lot and that only makes people dislike the group by reflex. I never said she should be a cheerleader for Korea that would be ridiculous, I'm saying there are fans over there that have supported her from the beginnig through thick and thin and they might be hurt by some of her statements towards her country and culture. And besides American know that Rihanna is from Barbados and the only reason they don't give a crap is because Barbados is an English speaking country, and if you think they'll only judge CL by her music and style you're really naive... Sure it would be great but it's not realistic, there are some areas of the States where racism is still very strong, and the American public is not always the best judge of talent, if they were then how do you explain the success of people like Iggy Azalea, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and many others who are not the emblem of musical and singing talent? I think CL has more talent than all of them put together, but so do many other artists that have been shunned by the public in favor of less talented but pretty puppets... Bye.

I don't get what's so fun singing about bitches all the time.
