It seems the rumors were true, Kim Hyun Joong's enlistment date was indeed today, and his fans lined up outside his enlistment location to say their goodbyes.
As previously reported, it was said that the singer-turned-actor would be enlisting today at a camp in Gyeonggido. In hopes of catching a glance of him, fans as well as press lined up outside the base camp since early morning to see the singer. However, the singer was able to quietly sneak in under their radar.
It seems with the current controversy surrounding himself and his ex-girlfriend, he wanted to draw as little attention as possible with his enlistment. Nevertheless, his heart must have been warmed to see his fans lined up outside showing their support with placards and banners.
If all goes accordingly, he is expected to be discharged in February of 2017.
