The sexy concept has been a trend among girl groups for a while now, but the K-Pop community remains fairly split between what's "sexy" and what's not. Are leg spreads sexy? How much skin is too much? How much can an artist push a sexy concept until it's considered going a bit too overboard?
Deciding whether something is "sexy" or not is a subjective task, but there usually is a majority consensus on these things. Here at allkpop, we asked three different staff members--two girls (Pakman, mssylee) and one guy (Shin Se Gi*)--to rate the recent girl group and female soloist comebacks in terms of sexiness only and explain what they found was sexy, what wasn't, and what was just too much.

Rainbow - "Black Swan"
Pakman: The girls look gorgeous in this dark yet spellbinding MV. Hyunyoung's eyes were especially bewitching, but what makes the overall MV sexy is that "peekaboo-at-my-shorts" move they pull during the chorus. It's a teasing, playful move; the dresses look pretty; and there are butts. Done. 9/10.
mssylee: I love their outfits, especially the curtain skirt around their waist, which is later used in the choreography to coyly seduce the viewers. As for the girls actually being able to pull off such an elegant concept, I don't think they did. 5/10.
Shin Se Gi: This felt way too forced. All they do is blankly stare at things and then go crazy. Not very sexy. Not even Jaekyung, Woori, or Hyunyoung could save this for me. 4/10.
4minute - "Crazy"
Pakman: Of course this is sexy. It has HyunA�in it. And more importantly, it has the 4minute girls looking their best and rocking it to a beat. Sohyun's shimmy into the camera and Jiyoon's green hair taking center stage have to be my favorite parts of the MV. Jihyun owning all the butts was a pretty sexy addition as well. 10/10
mssylee: 4minute is definitely one of the groups that can really pull off their concept and image time in and time out. All the girls look fashionable and natural as if they've lived in these outfits their whole lives. This was the first time I actually paid attention to the other members besides HyunA and I have to ask--why weren't they ever put in the spotlight again? 9/10
Shin Se Gi: I like that the choreography and editing was crazy--true to the title of the song. I also like that the MV gave some more attention to the other 4minute members who were not HyunA. This was the first time I realized that they could be pretty sexy too. In the end, all I saw was HyunA though, and HyunA was, is, and always will be, sexy. 6/10
FIESTAR - "You're Pitiful"
Pakman: The clothes are what make this sexy for me. From the translucent shirts and the clean, all-white look, to the classy dresses and leather jackets, I was sold on the fashion alone. Can't say I was a fan of the leg spread and bouncing combination. That part was kinda awkward. 7/10.
mssylee: I can't help but go with the popular consensus and say that what made this comeback sexy was their outfits. Simple, comfortable yet still sexy and attractive. �Unfortunately, I couldn't help but be bored by everything else. 6/10.
Shin Se Gi: I like that the outfits were really simple here, because the highlight was their promiscuous choreography. 7/10 from me.
Ga In - "Paradise Lost"
Pakman: "Paradise Lost" has an ominous tone to it that comes across more creepy than sexy to me. The song and MV themselves are definite 9/10s in terms of quality, but they don't necessarily put Ga In in an attractive light. Sorry girl, love your music though. 4/10.
mssylee: Ga In left one of the strongest impressions on me with her comeback as she does with each of her solo releases. Unfortunately, it wasn't because she was appealing in the sexy kind of way. Although she does have that artistic edge to her sexiness that goes beyond comprehension, she is definitely not the sexiest of this bunch. Also, I don't necessarily think that she was going for just outright sexy with "Paradise Lost" so I don't feel as guilty giving her a 5/10.
Shin Se Gi: Honestly, I don't find Ga In to be sexy at all. Her sexual references are a bit too over-the-top and comes off as if she's trying too hard. Sorry. 2.5/10.
Minah - "I'm a Woman Too"
Pakman: Hair was awesome. Face was gorgeous. Some outfits were more flattering than others. The song unfortunately fell a little flat for me. Overall, I can't say I left that video going, "Wow, Minah is sexy." More like, "Wow, Minah has a pretty face. Don't think those high-waist shorts and long, off-shoulder shirt looked that great on her though." 5/10.
mssylee: Minah has a pretty face, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that she is sexy. The outfits seemed too mature for her refreshing and adorable, puppy-like appearance; they made her look like a young girl that had just rummaged through her mother's closet. On the bright side, I was able to focus more on her vocals and the music than what she looked like in the MV. 4/10.
Shin Se Gi: This was so boring to watch. I couldn't even finish this at first because I was so bored out of my mind. There doesn't seem to be any particular focus or fashion style. It's just Minah trying out all types of clothes in all types of settings. Didn't really seem that sexy. 3.5/10.
