Older brother Lee Chan Hyuk started off by saying, "It's true that after thankfully receiving a lot of love from many people for our debut album, we were nervous about releasing this single. When our other sunbaes' songs are good, we think that they are definitely going to get number one, but when it comes to our own music, it seems difficult to assess [our success] objectively."

Lee Soo Hyun chimed in, "Thankfully we've heard many people say that [this single] matches the season well. We are very thankful to those who constantly listen to our music and constantly sympathize with us."

Despite being uncertain about their level of success, Akdong Musician has managed to maintain the number one spot across seven music charts for six days after the release of "Time and Fallen Leaves".
