tvN stated on the 29th, "'Reply 1994' will be extended by one episode and conclude with 21 episodes... As the latter half of the story unfolds, we thought that it would be difficult to carry out the originally planned story to the fullest in just 20 episodes - so after discussion, we decided to air an extended episode."
'Reply 1994' has been following in the success of its predecessor by breaking its own record in viewer ratings with a 9.3% viewer rating last week, which is considered high for a cable drama and setting its eyes on the 10% viewer rating mark.
