IU attended the press conference for KBS 2TV's drama 'Pretty Man' on November 18 and revealed her thoughts on what was different between her celebrity self known as IU and her ordinary self known as Lee Ji Eun.

In relation to her using her stage name even while doing activities as an actress, IU said, "I feel more of a responsibility while using my stage name. Also, I like that I can think of my personal, private life separately from my work life."
She mentioned the difference between the two selves: "IU thinks more and is becoming smarter bit by bit, whereas Lee Ji Eun thinks less and is becoming dumber. However, I like that. When I am Lee Ji Eun, I express my feelings simply and become a bit more honest in relation to other people."
