Seo In Guk appeared on KBS 2TV's latest episode of 'Happy Together 3' and talked about his hit drama 'Reply 1997' and why he initially rejected the casting offer.
He revealed, "I thought it was going to be a secondary role. However, they gave me the charismatic role of Yoon Yoon Jae so I told them I wouldn't do it at first."
He explained, "I wasn't even a star nor was I good looking, which was all the more why I thought that it would cause trouble for Director Shin Won Ho . . . I told him I wouldn't do it. I was scared."
It turned out that his fears and worries were unfounded as the drama was a big hit which propelled Seo In Guk into being a star.
