Everyone knows the idol life isn't exactly the most glamorous, no matter what it seems like. Idols have to deal with haters and harsh schedules every day, but that's apparently not what bothers 4minute the most.
The girls came out to tvN's 'Baek Ji Yeon's People Inside', and Sohyun said, "Idols receive a lot of love from students and the public when they're young. When that happens, you lose the innocence of childhood early, and you mature fast. It happened to me. I couldn't experience the things that my friends could. I couldn't go on retreats with my friends, and my friends would go eat and hang out after school but I'd have to go to practice."
Jiyoon knew exactly what Sohyun was talking about, and she added, "When I talked to my friends, our subjects were different. The way we thought were so different. I felt a bit skeptical (about the path I chose) back then. I was hurt because the things we worried about were so vastly different".
Still, 4minute managed to overcome all that and stand where they are now, so hopefully the girls have no regrets on the path they chose.
