IU stated that she'll be returning soon to the music scene.
On the April 21st episode of 'Inkigayo', the MC's talked about TEEN TOP and Rainbow's plans for a follow-up song. Kwanghee then asked IU about her own plans for her next album, and IU replied, "Soon, I'll be greeting everyone with a good album."
About 2 weeks ago, IU's representative said, "She's around halfway done for her new album. We don't know what exactly the future holds, but we know that she'll be undergoing a lot of changes."
She'd revealed before that legendary singer Choi Baek Ho was going to be featured in her new album, which already signals that she's attempting at a change.
There's a lot of comebacks in store and it appears IU may soon join the mix as well.
