On April 23, Big Bang's Taeyang and Phantom were invited to legend Cho Yong Pil's comeback showcase at Seoul's Olympic Park!
The boys of Phantom were the only rookies invited and sang their song "Like Cho Yong Pil" at their senior's showcase. Phantom had released the song in January, and it was the first song ever that Cho Yong Pil had allowed a hoobae to use his name in a song.
Taeyang had always been a fan of the legendary singer, and he finally got his chance to meet him. According to YG Entertainment, Cho Yong Pil personally invited Taeyang to his showcase. The label added that Taeyang wasn't going to perform or be a special guest at the event but rather he just wanted to meet his senior idol, Cho Yong Pil.
The showcase was MCed by Kim Je Dong, and singers such as Phantom, Jaurim, Lena Park, Gukkasten, Verbal Jint, and Idiotape performed at the showcase.
