Through his label actor Kim Hye Sung apologized and clarified the reasons behind his casual attire and cell phone captured in photos that spread earlier with attention on celebrities serving in the military.

Photos of Kim Hye Sung, Jung Kyung Ho, Outsider, and other celebrities wearing casual clothes while they were on duty had spread through the internet, causing heavy criticism to be shot in their direction.

Kim Hye Sung's label Namoo Actors said, "Actually, Kim Hye Sung is not a celebrity recruit, but part of the army band for CSCT #3. This photo is from when the Ministry of Defense asked the CSCT #3 asked him to become the MC for the event. Kim Hye Sung got an order to dress into casual clothes and rest, so he was resting in casual clothes for a bit. The photo seems to have been taken then."

They continued, "As for the cell phone, while he was MCing for the event, he had to wear a black suit. He visited his house to pick up his, suit, and was told by the CSCT #3 to bring a cellphone if he had one so it could be used for reporting purposes. They were told to report frequently. After the event, he returned the cell phone right away."

The label finished up by apologizing, "He had permission for the cell phone and the casual clothing, but it was definitely careless and he should be been more careful. Kim Hye Sung told us, 'I�believe�it was wrong and I am deeply regretting it. I am sincerely sorry'."
