IU to possibly star in new KBS drama?

Loen Entertainment has revealed that IU is currently undergoing talks for a role in the upcoming KBS drama, 'You're the Best In Soon Shin'.

One insider commented on IU possibly playing the lead in the weekend drama, saying, "She's currently negotiating a variety of drama projects. It hasn't been decided yet." He also added that IU's projects for 2013 have yet to be confirmed.

There have been rumors that the singer would be starring in another drama since earlier this year. Considering the success of 'Dream High' in which IU played the role of 'Pil Suk', it's plausible that she might be given the lead role in this new drama.

IU is also preparing for an album release in the first half of 2013.
