On October 25, the '2012 Style Icon Awards' (commonly known as 'SIA') was held at Seoul's CJ E&M Center.
The ten "style icons" named were Psy, Seo In Guk and Eunji, Song Joong Ki, miss A's Suzy, Super Junior, SISTAR, Yoon Jun Sang, Lim Soo Jung, Jang Dong Gun, and Ha Jung Woo. Winners were selected through online voting (30%), research preference surveys (30%), and evaluation done by members of the executive committee and 100 specialists (40%). The final 'Style Icon of the Year' award went to Jang Dong Gun.
The 'SIA' is an award ceremony for those who have been influential in various fields of fashion. The event also holds a concert and film festival as well as a media artist excavation project. It was aired live through On Style, XTM, StoryOn, Olive, tvN, and Mnet.
