Comedian "Mr. Kim" arrested for assaulting his wife during Chuseok

It has been reported that comedian and MC "Mr. Kim" was recently arrested for assaulting his wife during Chuseok.

According to police reports, on September 30th at approximately 11:40 PM KST, the comedian pulled over at the roadside of�Mapo-gu, Yonggangdong, and fought over family matters with his wife in the car, which eventually led to him trying to strangle his wife. Also present inside the car was the couple's daughter who is currently attending Kindergarten.

The wife called the police and Mr. Kim was arrested on the spot. A police official revealed, "Mr. Kim admitted to the assault and was released the following morning at 2AM."

Ironically, this comedian had just been on a recent broadcast during a Chuseok special with his family. The comedian and his wife also run an online shopping mall together.

Although the media is currently calling the comedian "Mr. Kim" or "A", netizens have tracked down the identity of the comedian. Many speculate the comedian to be Kim Kyung Min as he matches all the information that have been revealed and was named in the early reports published on the case before being deleted or renamed to "Mr. Kim". However, nothing about the identity of the comedian has been officially confirmed at this point.
