Shin Dong Yup revealed to be the highest paid celebrity from KBS last year

Comedian Shin Dong Yup received the highest pay within KBS last year.

Shin Dong Yup's appearance fee was made public by the National Assembly's�Culture, Sports, Tourism, Broadcasting and Communications Committee. They revealed the top 10 celebrities who received the highest pay within KBS, and according to them, Shin Dong Yup seized the top spot.

Shin Dong Yup earned a total of�609.5 million KRW (~$537,000 USD) in appearance fees for his efforts on programs like 'Immortal Song 2', 'Hello', and more. In second place behind him was '1N2D' cast member Lee Soo Geun who earned�595 million KRW (~$524,000 USD).

In third place was Lee Tae Gon of KBS1TV's 'King Gwanggaeto The Great'. With�522 million KRW (~$460,000 USD), he was the highest paid actor within KBS last year.

Other popular entertainers on the list included Lee Hee Jae ('Sponge') with�471 million KRW, (~$415,000 USD),�Yoo Jae Suk ('Happy Together') with 439 million KRW,�(~$386,000 USD),�Kim Seung Woo ('Win Win', '1N2D') with 350 million KRW�(~$308,000 USD), Park Myung Soo ('Happy Together')�with 321 million KRW ($283,000 USD), and more.
