Ever sinceA-list actors Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung confirmed they were dating, there have been questions as to why the couple first denied the rumors before confirming them several days later.
In a handwritten letter, Lee Byung Hun explained the supposed discrepancy on his official homepage on the 19th.
"I first met Lee Min Jung through my associates at a gathering with a lot of people in attendance," he explained. "Since it must be revealed to a large number of people, we had to think of our families and our companies as well. I denied the dating rumors at first because I wanted to be more careful and not act on my instincts or dangerous feelings."
He continued,"I apologize and ask for your understanding for not revealing the truth at once. Now, she's become the most special person [in my life]. And I wish to continue our relationship carefully."
On the same day, Lee Min Jung confirmed that the two stars were dating on her homepage, but denied marriage rumors.
