The Japanese version of Wonder Girls' hit song "Nobody" has ranked #1 on the CM (TV commercial) and ringtone charts of prominent digital website Recochoku!
Back in April, the Wonder Girls endorsed�Kowa's body powder 'Marshpuff Kowa' via a CM, in which the Japanese version of "Nobody" was used as background music. After having revealed a sneak peek of their single (although their official debut Japanese album will not be released until July), it was decided to make "Nobody" available for download earlier on June 25th. On the same day of its release, the single impressively claimed the number 1 spot on Recochoku's CM and ringtone Daily charts.
JYP Entertainment commented, "[Even] before the release of the album, the Japanese version of 'Nobody', a work of [one of the] original idols the Wonder Girls, gained a lot of interest."�In regards to the Wonder Girls' future Japanese promotions, they added, "We ask for your unwavering support for the Wonder Girls who are promoting both domestically and overseas."
On July 25th, the Wonder Girls will be releasing their first Japanese album�'Nobody for Everybody'. The group will�then follow up with a special event in Tokyo on July 26th for fans who purchase their album.�Prior to their promotions in Japan, the Wonder Girls will also hold a solo concert in Seoul.
