TEEN TOP's 'High Touch' event momentarily halted due to rush of fans

TEEN TOP's 'High Touch' event was momentarily halted due to a large crowd of fans.

On June 18th, TEEN TOP launched the start of their Japan tour by successfully finishing their 'High Touch' event with about 5000 fans in attendance. The event was held at Tokyo's large shopping center, Lazona Kawasaki.

A limited number of 1000 fans were chosen from those who bought TEEN TOP's album, which was released before their official Japan debut. The fans ranged from students in school uniforms to those who carried their children with them.

Thousands of fans who didn't get to attend the event are reported to have looked at TEEN TOP from afar.

The event was temporarily halted when TEEN TOP tried to move closer to a fan in a wheelchair causing other excited fans to rush forward and fall over themselves. The event was able to safely proceed after adding more bodyguards and calming down the fans.

The host of the eventUniversal Music shared, "TEEN TOP is getting more famous among teens so the responses on site are especially more passionate. Looking at the results of this event, we are anticipating TEEN TOP's official promotion in Japan from now on."

Meanwhile, TEEN TOP sold out fan club pre-sale tickets for their first solo concert 'TEEN TOP ZEPP TOUR 2012', which will start on the 19th. The tour will make stops in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo.
