Actress Song Ji Hyo took part in her first 'Running Man' shoot after news broke out about her relationship with the CEO of her agency, C-JeS Entertainment.
The shoot took place in Busan on February 6th, and fans were anxious to know how this would affect her relationship with co-star Gary on the program. Song Ji Hyo and Gary make up the 'Monday Couple', a team that's drawn great popularity on the program because of the couple's affection for one another.
'Running Man' PD Cho Hyo Jin informed MyDaily that, "It was the first shoot after the news broke, but the atmosphere on set wasn't much different from how it's always been. As always, it was a pleasant shoot. Nothing special."
After her relationship was made public, the actress had apologized via text messages to all her 'Running Man' cast members, including Gary, who responded via Twitter.
Cho PD remarked, "To be honest, it's nothing she needs to feel or be sorry for. I think she did that because she's just a really sweet girl. They did mention her new relationship during the shoot, but they were supportive and encouraging. If it's funny, we will include it in the episode; if not, it will get edited [out]."
"Song Ji Hyo and Gary were also on the same team, and they were their usual 'Monday Couple' selves," Cho continued. "They weren't awkward at all, nothing different from how it's always been."
In related news, Lee Da Hae and Oh Ji Ho served as the special guests on the episode. 'Part 1' will air on the 19th, while 'Part 2' will air on the 26th.
