Lee Jang Woo's father was a general in the Korean military

Actor Lee Jang Woo was revealed to be the son of an actual General, causing quite the stir amongst netizens online.

According to Lee Jang Woo's representatives, Lee Jang Woo's father once served as a general in the Korean military.

What's interesting is that the actor's wife on 'We Got Married', T-ara's Eunjung, always called him 'Mr.General', and it turns out, he really is the son of an actual General.

A broadcast management official close to the star remarked, "He speaks a little more formally than the rest of his peers, with language very similar to what they use in the military."

"Curious, I just asked him one day and sure enough, he says that his father was a General in the military," he continued with a laugh.

Those close to the actor say that he is energetic and strong. He is really competitive, as he hates to lose. He is very sociable, and loves spending time with people.

Netizens who heard the news remarked, "That makes so much sense. He really seems energetic and bright", "He must take after his father", and more.
