Welcome to another week of 'allkpop TV guide and Ratings', an exclusive feature that spotlights three popular Korean dramas. It will discuss ratings for each week's episodes, as well as provide brief recaps (with spoilers, so watch out!) of shows that we know allkpop readers are enjoying. We've got the three regular shows being recapped for this week � 'Poseidon' (with Super Junior's Choi Siwon), 'Deep-Rooted Tree' (starring Shin Se Kyung, Jang Hyuk, and Super Junior's Kim Ki Bum), and 'Man of Honor' (starring Park Min Young and Chun Jung Myung). If any allkpop readers are interested in seeing recaps for 'I'm a Flower, Too' (starring Yoon Si Yoon, Lee Ji Ah, and B2ST's Kikwang), leave your comments below! -- 'Poseidon' added fresh blood to their cast with ZE:A's Junyoung, but the drama saw only a slight increase in ratings with 7.7%. Though the plot is gaining momentum, its competition with other well-established dramas is drawing bleak prospects of breaking double digits before next week's finale. Viewers are also wondering if Siwon's character will get killed off in the drama, as the director has a history of doing that with his male protagonists in previous works [see: 'Iris' with�Lee Byung Hun]. Meanwhile, SBS's 'Thousand Day Promise' (starring Su Ae and Kim Rae Won) is proudly carrying the crown as the 'ratings winner'. The series enjoyed a solid increase to 17.2%, while MBC's 'Gyebaek' reached a rating of 11.5%. The broadcast of MBC's upcoming drama, 'I'm a Flower, Too' was postponed to next week. Fans can still catch a sneak preview of the show, which is receiving hot attention as Lee Ji Ah's and Yoon Si Yoon's comeback drama. As for historical mystery 'Deep-Rooted Tree', it saw its record rating this week by finally breaking the 20% mark with 20.2%. However, 'Man of Honor'� is also seeing great surges of rating with a 14.1% rating. Even though 'Man of Honor' might not be able to gain traction against the already popular drama, 'Deep-Rooted Tree', it is still doing quite well. We'll see how 'I'm a Flower, Too' does in this hot race. === [SPOILERS BELOW]         !!! === ? Poseidon (KBS)       Official Synopsis: Kim Sun Woo (Super Junior's Choi Siwon) spent his school days as a troublemaker, but decides to make a change in his life and joins the marine special forces team, aptly named 'Poseidon'. Sun Woo shines as a promising commando, but his career takes an unexpected turn when he becomes entangled in an unsavory incident. He becomes demoted, and gets transferred to a marine police office in Gunsan city. Sun Woo's passion for his job quickly cools down, and he slowly loses his vision as a marine police officer. One day, Jung Ryul (Lee Sung Jae) appears out of the blue, and offers Kim Sun Woo the opportunity to join his new crime investigation team in Incheon city. Will Kim Sun Woo be able to reclaim his destiny and fulfill his potential? - Recap of Ep. 13-14: ZE:A's Junyoung made a special cameo in the 14th episode as 'Cha Hyun Seung', a member of the special crime team of Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Forces. He is seeking help from the Coast Guard Investigation Team 9 to help search for 'Kang Eun Chul' (TVXQ's Yunho). Meanwhile, Soo Yoon (Lee Si Young) gets attacked as Sun Woo and Jung Ryul tries to search for the black society; unfortunately, they miss her by a split second. Not only is CGI 9 having problems in solving their investigation, but Jung Ryul is planning to drop the mission entirely, cracking the team's bond... - ? Deep-Rooted Tree (SBS)       Official Synopsis: A series of murder casts a shadow over the reign of King Sejong (Han Suk Kyu). As Kang Chae Yoon (Jang Hyuk) investigates these cases to get closer to the root of the matter, he finds himself embroiled in a massive conspiracy behind the serial killings. The conspiracy involves a group of geniuses who are willing to risk their lives towards their cause, and exert secret influence to interfere with the course of Kang Chae Yoon's investigations. - Recap of Ep. 9-10: King Sejong relays more information regarding the secret societies to Chae Yoon, while Sam Moon (Hyun Woo) and Paeng Nyeon (Super Junior's Kim Ki Bum) discover Sejong's secret in creating Hangul (Korean language). Meanwhile, Ga Ri On (Yoon Je Moon) is captured as the murderer of officer Nan, resulting in a meeting between Chae Yoon and So Yi (Shin Se Kyung). Seeing So Yi in a kneeling position, Chae Yoon is reminded of his childhood and wonders if So Yi was the girl he knew when his father was killed... - ? Man of Honor (KBS)       Official Synopsis: Yoon Jae In (Park Min Young) is a struggling young woman who dreams of becoming a nurse. She meets Kim Young Kwang (Chun Jung Myun) at the hospital after he sustained injuries. Kim Young Kwang is a baseball player who used to be hotshot hitter but got demoted to a lower rank. As they struggle to overcome their fates, the two draw closer to one another and find love. - Recap of Ep. 7-8: As Jae In (Park Min Young) becomes In Woo's nurse (Lee Jang Woo), In Woo suggests that Jae In apply for his father's company. However, Young Kwang (Chun Jung Myun) is also applying to the same company and takes the test again with Jae In's encouragement. In Woo, seeing Jae In's and Young Kwang's close relationship, becomes jealous and tries to eliminate Young Kwang.
