Chinese singer Wei Chen (??) performed on this week's episode of Mnet's 'M! Countdown' with a collaborative track featuring MBLAQ's Lee Joon and Thunder!
"Run Away" was released digitally on August 25th, and has been described as an exciting R&B-style track, carrying both acoustic and electric guitar sounds. The song will be included in Wei Chen's new Chinese album which will be released next month.
Co-produced by CJ E&M, EE-Media, and M Plus Entertainment, representatives revealed, "Wei Chen is extremely glad to be able to work with the best idols of Korea, MBLAQ. We hope that through this project, there will be more opportunities for Korea and China to share their cultures together."
Representatives of MBLAQ added, "It's an honor to be able to participate in Wei Chen's album. We hope that it receives a lot of love in China. We were actually surprised with how great his Korean pronunciation was, so we hope to see him often on Korean stages."
