On April 6th, Chinese artist Chris Lee (???/Li Yuchun) released her latest album featuring a track that her fans felt was too close to Eun Ji Won (G1)'s past hit, "??? / Under the Influence of Alcohol", for comfort.
Eun Ji Won's Chinese fans requested for an official statement by his agency, and fortunately, the song was revealed to be an official remake under the permission of composer Kim Se Jin.
The influence of Hallyu with first generation stars like Clon, Baby V.O.X., N.R.G., Diva and others led to many plagiarism controversies in China.
But Chris Lee, who revealed herself to be a personal fan of Eun Ji Won and his music, took the necessary steps to get remake rights in order to include it in her latest album.
