Singer IU recently became a hot topic for netizens after a video of her handshake being ignored began circulating on the net. IU and gagman Kim Ki Yeol both made appearances on KBS's "2010 Entertainment Awards", held on December 25th. IU was the presenter for the 'best idea award,' which was granted to Kim.  In the video, Kim shares a brief handshake with Yoo Hee Yeol, but fails to notice IU reaching across; instead, he turns away and starts his speech. Surprised, IU withdraws her hand and gives an embarrassed expression. Regarding the 'embarrassment' he gave IU, the gagman took to his mini-homepage to clarify that he had no idea on what was going on at the time. "I really didn't know about IU's handshake. I'm really disappointed too. More than anyone else, I'm the most disappointed!" Netizens said, "Kim Ki Yeol is a true 'cold city man,' even ignoring IU, who's one of the hottest trends!"
