After 2 years of military service, Tony An (32) has finally been discharged. At the Seoul YongSan National Defense Information Service on the 14th, Tony An was congratulated by his fellow soldiers (Boom, Andy, etc), as well as about 200 fans, with bouquets and applause.
He also expressed his thoughts about his military discharge:
"Thank you (fans) for waiting 1 year and 10 months for me. I'm no longer the soldier An Seung Ho, and I'm happy that I could now stand as Tony An. It feels as if I've just wrapped up my trainee years and am in preparation for a new debut." "I'm glad to return back to being a full-fledged member of society. However, my heart aches at the thought of leaving my fellow soldiers behind. These 2 years have been filled with many tiring moments, but they've become an adventure that I will never forget. I've finished this adventure, and now I'll be able to return back to all of you. Thank you."For all the fans who have waited all this time for Tony An's military discharge, he will treat them to a new track on the 15th called, "I'm On My Way To Meet You". This is his way of saying thank you to his family, friends, and fans who have waited for him, and to mark the end of his army service. He will return officially at the end of October or early November with a new album. [gallery]
