Jang Dong Gun to have surgery in early 2010

Jang Dong Gun is scheduled to have knee surgery in either late January or early February of 2010. This comes from a representative at AM Enterainment, the talent agency that Jang Dong Gun formed earlier this year. The injury comes from more than 5 years while he was filming the blockbuster hit Taegukgi: Brotherhood of War. While the injury doesn't cause him too much pain in day to day life, he does feel it when filming high action scenes or working out. For the past few years, he's been busy filming movies, such as filming for his Hollywood debut Warrior's Way and attending events such as Hallyu's Four of A Kind at the Tokyo Dome, that he didn't have time for the surgery. As 2010 begins, Jang Dong Gun finally has some free time (along with recovery time) for the surgery. I wish him the best of luck and a full recovery.
