Veteran singer Psy expressed his discontent in the lack of promotional activities for Ivy's latest album. In an interview which took place on November 10th, Psy stated: "It's unfortunate that more opportunities have not been presented to Ivy for the purpose of promoting her latest album." "Baseball players are judged based on their performance on the field (batting average, ERA and etc.), and not on their social lives. I believe to judge an entertainer's performance on stage, to judge based on their social life is wrong. Basing it on his/her social life is similar to not counting a home run just because the player has a poor social standing in the community." Psy then went on to say: "When a singer becomes successful, it is often the case that his/her actions become prone to public criticism. However, how one acts out in public should not be the deciding factor for one's ability as a singer." Psy set the stage for his own comeback next year by producing Ivy's latest single, "Touch Me." He's also been working on producing albums for Kim Jin Pyo and DJ Doc all while working on his own album. Regarding his own comeback, Psy stated: "In terms of lyrics, I've written about my life away from the spotlight for the last three years. I'm also trying to veer away from producing songs based around a catchy hook, which seem to the latest trend. I've currently written about 30 songs and now have to figure out whether to release it in the form of mini-album, which is most likely at the moment, or maybe something else." Psy, who is now married with two kids (two girls), also said: "Since I'm a father now, I'm working on another version of the song, 'Father.' But I don't plan to write any songs dedicated to my daughters or my wife. I have no interest in making money off of my family."
