Earlier this week we reported on a Wonder Girls sighting at Tory Burch's party in NYC, and they aren't ending it there - last night (Sept 12), the girls were spotted at Vivienne Tam's Spring/Summer 2010 Collection show at the Promenade in Bryant Park as well!
Not only did they attend in coordinated outfits, the girls channeled Mickey Mouse with their dress coordination. New York may be great and all, but I guess they can't help missing Disney World. The girls are known to be huge lovers of all things Disney, from Yoobin's lifetime aspiration to be Snow White to Sunye's multiple Mickey Mouse t-shirts. Disney stuff has always been a hot commodity all over Asia, and these girls are no exception.
Hailing from Hong Kong, Tam is a fellow Asian pioneering into the West; her designs are known to have a distinct blend of Chinese and modern fashion. This lady's got shops in most major cities worldwide, and has branched out to co-authoring a book, working with Hewlett Packard to design netbook computers, designing dresses for LaMB (Animax movie) and much more.
Check out the "digital clutch" that Sunmi's holding - it's the gorgeous, limited edition second generation netbook that Tam designed herself! Hm, ten-inch display... I might grab one of these for myself...
So what do you think of the girls' look? Did Mickey meet high fashion in class, or should Disney stay in Disneyland?
Don't get me wrong, Mickey Mouse is my favorite rodent around, but I like their outfits from Tory's show better. But whoa, check out those shoes! After matching Sandara's hairstyles twice, is Sohee bringing some 2NE1 style to the States again?
