Despite the huge popularity of 2NE1, Big Bang etc, has anyone noticed the lack of variety show promotion for the YG fam? Sure, all of the Big Bang members (sans Taeyang) have visited the Family Outing set, but since their debut, these boys don't often appear on any other shows. Likewise, unlike other rookie groups like 4minute, 2NE1 has yet to be on Star Golden Bell, or other shows that don't explicitly feature their performance talents. Unfortunately, we have no news to change that today for 2NE1, but G-Dragon has been confirmed to appear on SBS's newest show, "Kang Shim Jang" (???) which will be hosted by the ever-so-popular Kang Hodong. The first ever recording for this new performing arts program will be completed on September 24 in Deungchon-dong, Seoul. This will be G-Dragon's first guest appearance on an entertainment program as a solo artist. This program was initially organized through internal discussion regarding the current Tuesday evening programming. Unlike typical one-on-one format performing arts programs, this show will feature a total of twenty-three (yes, you read that correctly!) guests, a stark contrast that will be sure to set this program apart from other shows. In other words, even though G-Dragon will be capturing the hearts of many, he'll have to share the spotlight with twenty-two others... tough luck, kid.
