On May 8th at Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall for 'Korea Dramasong Festival 2009,' R&B queen, Hwayobi, announced her plans for her future 7th album. Hwayobi released her mini album 'This is Love' back in February of this year and promoted the title track "Half" ('반쪽'). Her song "Half" is a kind of halfway mark into her new sound. Starting in June, she will start working on her 7th album. Up until now, Hwayobi has been known for her ballad and R&B image, but she'll be doing something a little different this time around. The new tracks will have a faster beat and an up tempo. At the event Hwayobi performed songs from the "Stairway to Heaven" OST "Memories of Heaven" and her own hit song "Half."
